Design and plan category development to achieve Annual Business Plan (ABP) and develop overall action plan for category development.
Ensure right product assortment through increasing margins & profitable pricing strategy in targeted category range.
Close monitoring of item to item in-depth sales and profit analysis, ensure proper display and merchandising as per layout plan to enhance category visibility that meet customer needs with fulfilling financial objectives.
Conduct regular market survey to evaluate market intelligence of products availability, pricing, product range information, consumer behavior, share competition for category review and take necessary strategies are in place to assess the development needs of the business at all levels in context of regular operation and expansion.
Design and plan promotion for category and measuring the promotional effectiveness of category to drive sales and Footfall by closely working with business partners.
Initiative for sold out outlet existing slow moving, over stock or near expiry products through discount offer or some other activation program.
Coordinate with Sales & Operation, Marketing, Supply Planning and other functions to prepare monthly demand plan and follow-up the sales vs. available stock and minimum visibility.
New products sourcing and selection.
Introduce new products by ensuring proper visibility at allocated outlet coordination with planning and buying team and measure and evaluate the performance of new products within certain intervals.
Prepare the Joint Business Plan (JBP) with the vendors with some agreed terms for the benefit of the Company.
Minimum 5 years working experience in related field.
Minimum 3 years working experience as a Team Leader/ Supervisor.
Very good idea about current market price of products.
